The executive team is responsible for overseeing the management of Deutsche Numis and for setting the strategic direction of the business.
Alex Ham
Alex joined Deutsche Numis’ corporate broking team in 2005, where he played a critical role in building and developing the retained corporate client base and equity capital markets capability. He was appointed Head of Investment Banking in 2015. Rising rapidly through the ranks, he was appointed Co-CEO of Deutsche Numis in 2016. Alex and fellow Co-CEO Ross Mitchinson are a close-knit team and have worked together for more than 15 years, developing complementary skillsets that help them oversee the ambition and strategy of Deutsche Numis.
Alex is known for pioneering the company’s private growth capital business, advising some of the world’s most ambitious private companies, and was appointed lead of Deutsche Bank’s global private growth capital team in 2024. The team connects leading entrepreneurs with global growth investors to deliver strategic equity solutions.
Ross Mitchinson
Ross joined Deutsche Numis in 2008 in its equity sales division, bringing significant market experience to the firm. He worked his way up to become Head of Equities in 2015, where he was responsible for day-to-day oversight of the research, sales, sales trading and trading functions, as well as developing senior-level relationships across our institutional and corporate client base.
He was appointed Co-CEO of Deutsche Numis in 2016 alongside Alex Ham. As Co-CEOs, Ross and Alex work in close collaboration to shape the strategic direction of Deutsche Numis and deliver opportunities for our clients and teams from the combination with Deutsche Bank.
Andrew Holloway
Andrew joined Deutsche Numis in 2009, starting in the corporate broking & advisory team before being promoted to Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group in 2016. He was appointed CFO in 2018, where he supports the Co-CEOs in the development, implementation and oversight of the group’s strategy. He is responsible for the preparation and integrity of the group’s financial information and the effectiveness of its internal control framework.
He was appointed COO in 2023 and has been central to delivering our integration with Deutsche Bank.
